Disclaimer
While not technically an encounter, the difficultly of this section of the raid for first time raiders warrents its own page. This “encounter” is from the first heat bubble to the door at the last heat bubble.
Intro
The goal of this section is to reach the other side of the storm, where the Deep Stone Crypt is located. This storm is freezing cold, cold enough to kill a Guardian. Thankfully the Fallen have setup heated bubbles that we can use to avoid dying from frostbite long enough to reach the Deep Stone Crypt.
Mechanics
Frostbite
Whenever a Guardian is outside of a heat bubble (and not at the entrance or exit doors to the area) they gain stacks of a debuff called Frostbite. If this ever reaches 10 stacks (aka Frostbite x10) the Guardian instantly dies.
Sheltered From The Storm (Heat Bubbles)
At various points in the area the Fallen have setup heat bubbles that can “defrost” Guardians. While a Guardian is in the bubble they rapidly lose stacks of Frostbite and have a buff called “Shelter from the Storm” (TODO: Check exact wording)
There are a total of 6 heat bubbles including the starting and ending bubble. Fallen defend each bubble except for the first bubble. There are a limited number of waves of Fallen that spawn at each bubble, so killing them off will prevent any more from spawning.
Each Heat Bubble has a teleporter in the middle, activating the teleport brings the Guardian to the previous Heat Bubble.
Mines
To slow Guardians down there are mines placed along the path to the heat bubbles. While a great indicator of where to go, they also explode into a field that slows any Sparrows and Guardians in it. These mines instantly respawn, and must be avoided to prevent death by Frostbite.

Optional Triumph
There is a triumph for getting all of the Pikes from the starting bubble to the final bubble. The recommended strategy is to first clear out all of the Fallen from all of the heat bubbles, then backtrack using the teleporters in the heat bubbles. Destoyed Pikes respawn at the first bubble. (TODO: Check this)
Secrets
There is a secret chest located near the final bubble, head left as Guardians walk from the bubble towards the gap they jumped over.
